Why Utrecht?
Experience Utrecht like a true "Utregter"
Utrecht. Its the fourth largest city in the Netherlands, and many regard it as the cozier alternative to Amsterdam. The city boasts beautiful canals and parks, lively restaurants and cafés, fascinating museums and remarkable historical buildings. Its city center alone is absolutely worth a visit, but there is much more to Utrecht than that.
There’s something for everyone in Utrecht. The city centre is bustling with cosy places to go for great food and drinks and is home to unique museums offering something for visitors of all ages. Children will love the Miffy Museum, a playful introduction to museums as well as a tribute to Miffy, the world-famous Utrecht rabbit from Dick Bruna's books. Centraal Museum is for grown-ups, with an ever-changing collection that includes works by big names and the iconic designs of Gerrit Rietveld. Whether you’re interested in culture or just want to relax, Utrecht surprises young and old alike with its charm and versatility.

My favorite cafés in Utrecht
Belgisch biercafe Olivier
This is a popular spot for the locals, characteristic since it used to be a Church, and is now a biercafe, keeping its features as religious old building.

What I like about it
It is such a characteristic place where to grab some coffee, and look around to its Church architecture. There is a chill vibe, and there is always people enjoying their time among friends, board games and soft lights.
